Happy Monday, October 12th! 🍂✨
Another Monday, another opportunity to become a better version of yourself.
When we last connected in September, we were beginning the process of planning, reflecting, and thinking about how we wanted to reinvent ourselves. If you’ve been following along, you’ve likely already made some progress and hit a few milestones.
But now it’s time to take things a step further and bring a little more structure and intention to the process.
Welcome to the Winter Arc: Becoming Our Best Selves Before 2027. ❄️
For this next chapter, I’m focusing on three key areas:
💪 Health, Fitness & Longevity
💰 Money & Financial Wellness
✨ Creating More Whimsy & Joy
Each of these areas serves a very specific purpose in my life, and each deserves a little more attention.
My recommendation for anyone embarking on their own Winter Arc? Choose three areas of focus. Keep it simple. Then build small, sustainable habits that support each one.
Here’s what that looks like for me.
1. Health, Fitness & Longevity 💪
Health and wellness have always been important to me. It’s an ongoing journey, but consistency is something I still struggle with.
I tend to go all in for several weeks or months, only to eventually fall off track. Sound familiar?
This time, I’m shifting my focus from intensity to sustainability. I want to build habits that actually stick, with a greater emphasis on strength training, mobility, and longevity.
As we get older, taking care of our bodies becomes increasingly important. I want to feel strong, capable, and healthy not just today, but decades from now.
2. Money & Financial Wellness 💰
As we approach the end of the year, it’s the perfect opportunity to reevaluate our finances.
Where is our money going? Are our spending habits aligned with our priorities? What do we want our financial future to look like?
Personally, I have a few financial milestones coming up this next quarter, and I want to be intentional about how I navigate them.
This isn’t just about closing out 2026 on a strong note. It’s about setting myself up for 2027 and making decisions that support my long-term financial goals.
3. Creating More Whimsy & Joy ✨
This might be my favorite one.
And while it sounds fun and lighthearted, there’s actually a more serious reason behind it.
I’ve noticed that as the year progresses, my stress levels climb, my shoulders get tighter, and I start to wonder: Am I actually taking good care of myself? Am I making enough room for joy?
It’s easy to get caught up in responsibilities, routines, and the endless to-do lists of adulthood.
But I want more than just productivity. I want more laughter, spontaneity, creativity, little adventures, and moments that make everyday life feel special.
I want to romanticize the ordinary a little more. Give myself permission to have fun. Find joy in the smallest things.
Because at the end of the day, we’re all just living on a giant rock spinning through space. Is it really all that serious? 🌎
Maybe the greatest gift we can give ourselves is learning to enjoy the ride a little more.
And that’s exactly what I intend to do.
So, here’s to the Winter Arc. ❄️
From October 12th through the end of 2026, I’ll be sharing weekly updates on my progress, the habits I’m building, the lessons I’m learning, and probably a few setbacks along the way.
The goal isn’t perfection. It’s progress, consistency, and creating a life that feels a little more aligned with who we want to become.
I’d love for you to join me on this journey.
What are your three areas of focus for the rest of 2026? And what are you doing now to prepare for the person you want to be in 2027?
