Happy Day 21 of the reset! We’ve officially made it three weeks, and we’ve accomplished so much.
As you head into the weekend, take a moment to reflect. Maybe even jot down a few of the wins or areas where you’re seeing progress. No matter how the rest of this reset goes, these 21 days have been productive, and that deserves to be acknowledged.
For me, this Friday was about focusing on another area of my reset: beauty and well-being.
I think we all have seasons when we naturally feel a little more like ourselves. Some people thrive in summer. Some come alive in winter, spring, or fall.
I am decidedly not a summer girl. 😂
By the end of summer, my skin is usually acting up, my hair has been through the sun, pools, water, humidity, and whatever else I’ve subjected it to. I generally look like I’ve been living… which isn’t necessarily a bad thing!
But as fall starts creeping closer, something shifts for me. Fall is usually a high-performance season in my career. I travel more, I’m home less, and my schedule gets busier. Because of that, taking care of myself and feeling put together becomes even more important.
So today, I treated myself to a fresh haircut and color, and tomorrow I have a few other beauty appointments planned.
But this isn’t really about hair, makeup, treatments, or spending a bunch of money. It’s about doing the little things that help you feel like yourself again.
Maybe that’s doing your nails at home. Putting on an outfit you love. Taking an everything shower. Going for a walk. Finally making that appointment you’ve been putting off. Taking an hour to read, journal, stretch, or simply be alone.
For me, beauty and well-being are connected to something deeper. Sometimes when life gets busy, I lose touch with that part of myself. Coming back to it and remembering what makes me feel feminine, confident, cared for, and me has an impact on how I feel everywhere else in my life.
So as we close out Day 21, I want you to ask yourself:
What is one little thing you can do today that is purely for you?
What are you adding back into your routine that makes you feel good, cared for, or simply more like yourself?
