Day 7: Investing in Yourself

Happy Day 7 of our reset!

Today, we’re talking about all things beauty.

This month, I’ve chosen beauty as one of my areas of focus. Every day, I’m doing little things to help me feel more like myself and get ready for the fall season.

Some of the bigger items on my list include my hair. I’m getting it cut, refreshed, and taking it a bit darker while really focusing on improving its overall health.

I’m also finally getting my microbladed brows removed and redone with nano brows, and I couldn’t be more excited. If you’ve ever gone through the process of removing old microblading before starting fresh, you know it’s definitely a journey. After a long wait, this month I’ll officially be starting over with a brand-new set of brows.

A few other beauty appointments are sprinkled throughout the month as well, including a lash lift and tint. And before all of that, I had my dental cleaning and checkups because, to me, beauty starts from the inside out. Taking care of your health is just as important as any cosmetic treatment.

None of these things are necessities (except taking care of your health, which includes regular doctor and dental visits). Beauty looks different for everyone, and what makes one person feel confident may not be important to someone else. But I’ve found that when I intentionally invest in myself physically, it carries over into every other part of my life. I feel more confident, more energized, and more motivated. It’s something I genuinely enjoy, and I take pride in becoming the best version of myself.

As you think about your own beauty routine, are there any areas you’ve been wanting to tackle? Maybe it’s something big you’ve been putting off, or maybe it’s simply taking better care of yourself.

Today we focused on some of the larger changes I’m making. Tomorrow, I’ll share some of the smaller, everyday habits that have made a surprisingly big difference.

Until then, I hope all of you beauties have an amazing weekend.
