I travel a lot, both personally and professionally, and over time I truly believe I’ve cracked the code on travel comfort. When you’re constantly on the move, bringing a few familiar comforts from home can completely change how grounded and peaceful you feel on the road. This is one of the things I’m asked about most when people start traveling more consistently or want to elevate their travel experience, so I thought I’d share a few of my absolute must-haves.
Travel can be exhausting. Sometimes simply getting to the hotel and settling in feels like the hardest part. That’s why I swear by a small set of reliable items that help me unwind quickly and feel like myself again.
I recently started creating a Benable list where I’m collecting all of my favorite travel products. It’s a growing list, but here are a few staples I never travel without:
Mini Humidifier
Dry, dusty hotel rooms can be brutal on your skin and sinuses, especially with constant air conditioning. A small portable humidifier has been a total game changer for me. Mine is compact, easy to pack, uses disposable filters, and even has a soft color-changing nightlight. I bring it year-round and notice an immediate difference.
Portable Sound Machine
This is a newer addition to my travel routine, and I’m obsessed. It’s tiny, fits in the palm of your hand, and offers several sound options like brown noise, rain, and soft ambient music. I love it for sleeping, but also for meditation or winding down after a long day. It even includes a subtle nightlight, which makes hotel rooms feel instantly cozier.
Heated Eye Masks
Travel gives me incredibly dry, tired eyes, and these have become a non-negotiable. I’ve been using Cornea Care rest masks for a while now. They’re individually wrapped, gently warm once opened, and are perfect for flights or a quiet ten-minute reset back at the hotel. So soothing and restorative.
These are just a few of the comfort items I rely on, and I’ll continue adding more to my Benable list as I go. As you start planning your 2026 travel, I hope some of these ideas help make your trips feel calmer, cozier, and more intentional.
And if you have a travel item you absolutely swear by, I’d love to hear about it 🤍 Safe travels.
